Solarium Solpro

Our work

Foundations

Solid concrete foundations or concrete piles with footings are available, but rarely used for solariums, unless the project aims to extend the living space into the basement. These traditional methods often require the use of heavy machinery, which can result in the removal of fences, damage to landscaping and high repair costs.

Helical piles

Solpro recommends the use of helical piles as a modern, intelligent solution for foundations. Installed by local certified professionals, these piles are tested, designed and approved to meet municipal building codes, ensuring a smooth and compliant installation.

Advantages of helical piles :

No excavation required – clean, efficient installation
Fast installation – most projects are completed within a few hours
Minimal site disturbance – your landscape is preserved
Robust and stable – suitable for all floor types
Installation possible all year round – even in winter
Eco-friendly – no concrete, no drying time

Insulation and finishing

Depending on whether it’s a three-season or four-season solarium, the floor and wall will be insulated to standard (up to R-40), and a wide choice of exterior coverings will be offered, including vinyl or aluminum siding, available in a wide range of colors.
